The Center for Children with Sensory and Physical Disabilities ZKSK is an interdisciplinary competence center for children and adolescents with physical, sensory, and multiple disabilities. At four locations, we offer educational support, individual medical and pedagogical therapy services, as well as housing options. With psychological and medical assessments and therapies, we support, advise, and accompany children and families.
We are looking for a versatile and interdisciplinary interested social pedagogue for the day special school and weekly boarding school (60 to 80%) in Solothurn starting March 1, 2026, or by arrangement.
As a committed, competent professional, you will care for an average of eight physically or sensory impaired children and adolescents who live in our weekly boarding school.
Your tasks
- You accompany the children and adolescents in everyday life and support them individually.
- You are responsible for meaningful leisure activities and assist with school events.
- You participate in the day school structure (lunch table, homework help).
- You assist with household, care, and administrative tasks and actively participate in interdisciplinary collaboration.
- You supervise social pedagogy trainees (PA) in cooperation with the management.
Your qualifications
- Completed training in social pedagogy (HFS/FH).
- Diploma as a practical trainer in social pedagogy.
- Enjoy working with impaired children and adolescents.
- Responsible, dynamic, resilient, and humorous personality.
- High communication and social skills, ability to work in a team.
- Flexible regarding working hours (usually Monday to Friday, one night shift).
- Driver's license desired.
