To strengthen our "Transport and Infrastructure Switzerland” division, we are looking for a
Contract Manager 80-100% in Zurich, Bern, Lucerne, Baar, Lausanne, or Geneva immediately or by arrangement.
In this role, you will be part of an interdisciplinary team that embodies the core values of our company: collaboration, passion for complex projects, and innovative spirit.
Your tasks:
- Contract analysis: Review offers and contract drafts to ensure they cover the essential commercial aspects and protect WSP's interests
- Support project teams in the offer and execution phases: Present key contract clauses to ensure a good understanding of rights and obligations. Support offer preparation by analyzing contractual and commercial conditions, identifying risks and opportunities, and proposing risk mitigation measures
- Assist with disagreements or disputes with clients or partners: Provide strategic and operational support
- Manage contractual communication: Draft contract-related correspondence (e.g., notifications, amendments, complaints) and participate in negotiation meetings
- Maintain documentation: Organize and update contract archives and project documents
- Collaborate with the legal department: Work with legal teams on sensitive or complex contract issues
Your profile:
- Completed university degree, ideally with a master's degree
- At least ten years of professional experience as a Contract Manager and/or project manager in construction, preferably with knowledge of SIA and KBOB standards
- Strong written communication skills for contractual correspondence and participation in negotiations
- Organizational skills, accuracy, independence, and proactive working style
- Open and curious personality with the desire to work in an international and multicultural environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills and high motivation to collaborate with diverse teams
- Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written (at least level C1), French skills are an advantage
