As a coordinator "Work Perspective" you take on a central role in the integration area of the Swiss Red Cross Canton Zurich.

We are looking for a committed and empathetic personality from February 1, 2026 or by arrangement as

Coordinator "Work Perspective" (70%)

The mentoring program connects refugees (provisionally admitted persons, recognized refugees or persons with protection status S) with voluntary mentors who support them on their path to education or work.

With your communicative manner, service orientation, and structured approach, you contribute significantly to the creation of successful tandems and real opportunities.

This is what you achieve with us

You conduct clarification interviews with interested volunteers and mentees and ensure a suitable matching of the tandems
You accompany initial meetings and support the tandems for a successful start.
You recruit, lead, and support volunteers and strengthen them professionally and personally in their task
You plan and lead information, introduction, and closing events as well as exchange meetings
You actively shape the networking and public relations work for the offer
You carefully manage the files and ensure professional administration
You contribute to the further development of the "Work Perspective" program and bring in your experience and ideas

This convinces us

Degree in social sciences (FH/UH), social pedagogy, adult education (e.g. Federal Specialist Certificate Trainer) or an equivalent qualification
Experience in working with and supporting volunteers
Several years of professional experience in a transcultural context
Experience in the vocational education landscape and in institutions of labor integration
Confident appearance, high social competence, and strong communication skills
Resource-oriented attitude as well as ability to reflect
Willingness to work partially irregular hours in the early evening
Wednesday and Thursday as fixed working days
