- Employee metal acceptance at the Biel location (machinist, forklift driver, etc.)
- Acceptance and valuation (incoming goods inspection) of delivered material
- Loading and unloading trucks and railway wagons using excavators or forklifts
- Performing simple maintenance work (depending on possibilities)
- Inventory management including sorting tasks
- Loading and operating the scrap shear
- Use of the excavator shear and cutting torch
- Compliance with specified safety and environmental standards
- Solid technical skills and a quick grasp
- Professional experience in recycling, disposal, or metal processing
- Knowledge of different types of metals to identify various qualities during acceptance
- High reliability and precise working method in sorting, documentation, and storage of materials
- A pragmatic and flexible personality with very good communication skills in dealing with customers and colleagues
- Willingness to actively pitch in and work concentrated and efficiently in a demanding work environment with increased noise levels and dust exposure
- Strong hands-on mentality as well as the ability to organize one’s own work independently and proactively
- Independent work and reliable execution of daily tasks as well as a pronounced customer orientation
- Good German or French skills in spoken and written form, good knowledge of the other language is an advantage
- Careful and responsible handling of the provided work materials
- Valid forklift license (SUVA recognized)
