Specialized Clinical Nurse in Oncology
The Clinical Oncology Department (DOC) of the CHUV is offering a position for a specialized clinical nurse (ICS) at a 40% activity rate, as part of the Brain Tumor Center project.
The starting date is scheduled for January 1, 2026, or to be agreed upon.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the five Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, it plays a leading role in medical care, medical research, and education.
The Clinical Oncology Department (DOC) cares for people with cancerous diseases relying on the expertise of five services and centers of excellence.
It combines specialized teams, cutting-edge technologies, and translational research to offer innovative and personalized care.
The department's integrated approach aims to meet the specific needs of each patient and optimize quality of life, treatments, and clinical outcomes.
Mission
- You ensure an expert role in nursing care, guaranteeing evidence-based practice
- You support interprofessional collaboration to improve clinical quality and continuity of care
- You develop disease and accident prevention actions, as well as health promotion interventions
- You actively participate in the dissemination and implementation of new knowledge in clinical practice and contribute to the development of academic clinical links
- You carry out the missions defined in the agreement between the Lundin Center, the CHUV Foundation, and the Brain Tumor Center.
This position may require irregular hours, depending on institutional needs.
