You want not only to lead projects but also to develop people and actively shape the future of a successful division. In this key role, you take on the professional and personnel leadership of an experienced engineering team and are responsible for demanding construction projects throughout their entire lifecycle.
As part of a nationwide construction project management team with around 100 specialists from architecture, engineering, and an established project office, you lead a diverse and challenging project portfolio. This includes modern office work environments, infrastructure projects, life cycle renovations, as well as sustainable initiatives within the framework of Net Zero and complex construction programmes.
Together with your team, you ensure the achievement of goals regarding quality, costs, and deadlines. At the same time, you actively develop construction project management, maintain close customer relationships, and make a significant contribution to the sustainable success of the division.
What to expect
- Professional and personnel leadership as well as targeted development of an experienced engineering team
- Overall responsibility for planning, controlling, and implementing demanding construction projects and programmes
- Ensuring compliance with quality, costs, and deadlines across all project phases
- Further development of the engineering division as well as optimisation of processes and standards
- Advising clients and building owners on technical and economic issues
- Management and coordination of project teams, planners, and external partners
- Responsibility for resource planning, budget, and economic target achievement
- Participation in acquisition and expansion of existing customer relationships
- Promotion of a performance-oriented and appreciative team culture
What you bring
- Completed education or degree HF, FH or ETH in construction, building services engineering or comparable
- Leadership experience and strong ability to develop employees
- Several years of experience in managing complex construction or infrastructure projects
- Solid understanding of project management, cost control, and economic contexts
- Negotiation skills and decisiveness
- Confident appearance towards customers and stakeholders
- Entrepreneurial, structured, and solution-oriented working style
- Fluent German, good English, French is an advantage
