The State Archive is the central memory of the canton of Thurgau, going back 900 years. For our Records Formation and Digital State Archive department, we are looking for a scientific archivist starting November 1 or by agreement
Your tasks
- Advising the offices of the Department of Justice and Security as well as the courts and the respective subordinate public bodies of the districts regarding digital and analog file management and archiving
- Participation in projects for the introduction of disposal interfaces from specialized applications
- Taking over and indexing digital and analog archival holdings
Your profile
- A completed university degree in history
- Professional experience in a state or city archive and/or a completed postgraduate degree in archival science
- Good knowledge of digital long-term archiving
- Particular skill in dealing with people
- Willingness to continuously engage with new and complex topics
- A well-coordinated and motivated team
- A responsible and varied activity with great scope for design
- A modern workplace located in close proximity to Frauenfeld train station
