Head of Security, Safety and Health

About the job

• Gradual development of responsibility for the Security, Safety and Health area 
• Ensuring personal, property and event security in the ongoing hotel operation
• Central role in incident, crisis and escalation management 
• Collaboration with police, fire brigade, rescue services and other authorities
• Participation in the creation, implementation and further development of security concepts, instructions and processes
• Professional leadership and development of an employee 
• Close cooperation with internal departments 
• Participation in risk analyses, audits as well as governance and insurance issues

• Completed training or further education in the security or risk environment
• Mandatory: recognized training as a security officer 
• Fire protection (SiBe fire protection) as well as first experience in the field of security, safety or comparable environment
• First leadership experience or experience in a deputy function is an advantage 
• Experience in operational security as well as interest in incident and crisis management 
• First contact points with personal security / personal protection (organizational) are an advantage 
• Experience in or affinity for a 24/7 operating environment with public traffic 
• Willingness to take responsibility, eager to learn, motivated personality 
• Structured and pragmatic way of working 
• Strong communication skills and openness in dealing with different stakeholders
• Very good German skills in spoken and written, good English skills
• High integrity, reliability and discretion
