The Swiss company AFC AG is the first address for integrated solutions in fire protection, safety, sustainability, and energy efficiency.
With our innovative approaches, we contribute to the sustainable use of resources, making buildings safe, and turning climate-neutral properties into reality. To implement our ambitious goals, we are looking for the Zurich location immediately or by arrangement:
What to expect:
You independently develop building physics concepts, verifications, calculations, and simulations and lead exciting projects in the field of building physics and energy efficiency – from planning to implementation.
You take on coordination and project management while always keeping costs, deadlines, and quality in view.
In building renovations and certifications, you contribute your expertise in all project phases – from preliminary design to execution.
In interdisciplinary collaboration with our experts in renewable energies and building simulations, you design innovative, future-proof solutions.
Your projects include new and existing buildings of various sizes – for private as well as public clients.
You maintain your network with customers and partners, actively support acquisition and business development, and help to strategically expand our building physics division.
What you bring:
You have a completed technical-scientific degree (e.g., energy, building physics, building technology, mechanical engineering, or environmental engineering) or a comparable education with further training in building physics or energy technology.
You already have several years of professional experience in building physics – ideally complemented by practical experience on construction sites.
Experience in the field of thermal building physics such as sound insulation, noise protection, and acoustics is especially welcome.
Knowledge in sustainable building as well as in the application of energy and sustainability labels for buildings (e.g., Minergie, LEED, BREEAM, GEAK, etc.) is desirable.
You are passionate about issues related to energy efficiency, building physics, and acoustics and want to actively shape the future in these areas.
You bring a positive attitude and convince through personal responsibility, commitment, communication skills, and openness in the team.
