The Rüegsau schools include the two school locations Rüegsauschachen and Rüegsbach. In Rüegsauschachen, nine primary classes, two special education classes, three kindergartens, and nine classes at the secondary level I are taught. The advertised position concerns the Rüegsauschachen school location.

Tasks
You will take on the class teacher role for the new 7th grade of our Secondary Level I starting in the new school year in summer 2026.
The rather small class consists of 16 students, which simplifies class management, makes it more personal, and strongly favors class formation. The base class is taught at the intermediate level. In the subjects German, Mathematics, and French, the children attend lessons according to their personal performance level in the level groups (secondary or intermediate level).
You will accompany the class on their exciting journey of settling into Secondary Level I, career choice, school events, camps, trips, and the subjects assigned to you in teaching.
Your high time presence with this class promotes relationships with the students, supports class management, and the accompaniment of the class. A good teacher-student relationship, from our point of view and experience, leads to a supportive learning environment and thus also supports learning success.
For this reason, we are not looking for a specialist in a few subjects in various classes, but a teacher who feels confident and competent in various subjects in the same class and who gladly invests in relationship and support work with students and their parents.
The open workload currently includes:
• Class teacher role (5% plus functional allowance)
• 2 lessons NMG ERG
• 4 lessons German
• 3 lessons French
• 3 lessons Sports
• 5 lessons Mathematics and/or 3 lessons NMG NT/ 2 lessons NMG WAH
The workload can be supplemented by the following subjects:
• 3 lessons NMG RZG
• 3 lessons English
• 2 lessons Music
• 2 lessons Media and Computer Science
All these lessons concern subjects in the same new 7th grade in which you will also take on the class teacher role.
Please indicate your desired total workload in the application and supplement your letter if necessary with your wishes and possibilities regarding the various teaching subjects.
Further tasks:
• You participate in school events, conferences, and internal working group meetings within the framework of the professional mandate.
• You work closely with the subject teachers, the IF teacher in the class, the rest of the Secondary Level I team, school social work, and the school management.
