In this diverse job
- you ensure that occasional visitors on the watson platforms in the German and Western Swiss regions as well as in Germany become loyal, returning, and interacting users
- you work interdisciplinarily with the editorial team, product management, data science, and marketing
- you observe user flows, segment them into different user types from fly-by to super users, and analyze their behavior patterns on the sites
- you optimize the UX: conception and implementation of onsite measures such as context-dependent content displays, recommendations, pop-ups, in-article notes, and links
- you deal with personalization & AI, working closely with the data team and editorial team to use algorithms/recommendation engines for smarter content delivery
- you continuously optimize our A/B and multivariate testing and our KPI monitoring
You will succeed here if
- you have experience in audience development, growth marketing, or product engagement – ideally in the media or e-commerce environment
- you have completed training in UX design, data analytics, or digital marketing
- you have practical knowledge in UX/conversion optimization, testing, and web analytics and have basic user knowledge regarding frontend engineering
- you have heard of tools like Google Analytics or Marfeel and are eager to dive deeper
- you understand algorithmic content personalization and machine-learning-based recommendations (acting as a translator between editorial and tech)
- you bring creativity and a willingness to experiment combined with data-driven decision-making
- you enjoy talking with other people often and like interdisciplinary work
