TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Real Estate Management: Management of existing properties and, if necessary, leasing of new properties in cooperation with local brokers and landlords and in coordination with internal business stakeholders.
- Project Management and Coordination: Responsibility for site projects such as relocations, renovations, and expansion work – including budget planning and control at company locations in Austria and Switzerland.
- Financial Control: Tracking of investment and operating costs, identification of savings potentials, and coordination with controlling.
- Service Provider Management: Ensuring smooth operational processes. Managing external facility service providers and ensuring contractual standards with high service quality considering Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Compliance & Safety: Ensuring compliance with legal regulations, implementation of safety and emergency plans, and close cooperation with the corporate security and crisis team.
- Sustainability: Supporting ESG goals by providing local sustainability data and implementing sustainability measures.
- Occupational Safety / Safety Specialist SIFA (optional, preferred): Professional responsibility for occupational safety, risk assessments, ergonomic workplace design, and accident prevention.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in building management
- Experience in managing facility service providers on site
- Sound knowledge of operational processes and technical understanding of building management systems
- Good leadership and social skills
- Fluent German and English skills (spoken and written)
- On-site work with hybrid work options
- Preferred: Background as a safety specialist (Safety Specialist/SIFA in Austria)
