Audit Collaborator

The Protection Authority for Minors and Adults APMA stands by people in difficulty. Those in need of help and support can count on APMA. Every day is different with us. Within the interdisciplinary team, we actively shape a secure future for adults, families, children, and adolescents in need of protection.
For APMA Graubünden, Northern Graubünden branch we are looking for January 1, 2026, or by agreement an audit collaborator.
Tasks
- Independent verification of inventories, reports, and invoices of professional and private guardians
- Evaluation of asset investments according to the OABCT as well as submitted budgets
- Verification of the possibility to assert insurance rights for the persons concerned (especially with health insurance funds and social insurance institutions)
- Preparation of audit and verification reports as well as draft decisions for the authority
- Specialist advice on financial matters and issues related to inventory and accounting management to professional and private guardians as well as to specialized internal services
- Participation in the preparation of the inventory of the assets of the assisted persons
What we expect from you
- Basic commercial training with professional development in social insurance, fiduciary, and/or finance and accounting (at the level of advanced professional examination, university of applied sciences, or equivalent training)
- Professional experience in banking, insurance, or fiduciary sector, preferably in the protection of minors and adults
- Interest and understanding of issues and correlations in the protection of minors and adults as well as excellent knowledge in social insurance, securities and asset administration, and taxes
- Basic knowledge of civil law (CC and CO)
- Willingness to develop the necessary know-how or to pursue professional development in relevant areas
- Independent, responsible, precise, and pragmatic working method
- Ability to cope with stressful situations, flexibility, discretion, and strong team spirit
- Excellent spoken and written German skills; knowledge of other cantonal languages is an advantage.

- High social skills and empathy towards people in difficult life situations
