HEKS Housing Aargau supports people in their apartments who, due to psychological impairments, sometimes with addiction disorders, need assistance with independent living in important areas of life. We offer participants support with practical life activities and psychosocial accompaniment. The HEKS Housing offer enables participants to develop as autonomous and self-determined a lifestyle as possible.
To support our program, we are looking for a committed personality immediately or by arrangement as
- Assisting accompaniment and support of individuals with psychological impairments in their apartments
- Implementing support with practical life activities in collaboration with the case-leading professional
- Documentation of the accompaniment work
- Regularly taking over telephone counseling service in the evenings and weekends
- You are enrolled in a related (part-time) study program (social pedagogy/social work, psychology, health, nursing, or similar) or have completed vocational training and have experience in caring for people with psychological impairments.
- You work carefully and carry out the tasks assigned to you reliably and according to professional requirements.
- You appreciate independent work.
- You know your abilities and proactively seek the necessary professional support when needed.
- You can appropriately handle stressful and challenging life situations and find a good balance between empathy and boundaries.
- You have a category B driving license and ideally your own car.
- Challenging, versatile work with thorough professional introduction and support
- Opportunity for students of social pedagogy/social work or similar to gain first professional experience
- Gradual and professionally closely supervised assumption of more responsibility and opportunities for content design if suitable
- Regular professional exchange with the case-leading person, supervision, etc.
