Senior Physician

• As a senior physician, you independently carry out outpatient treatments at the St.Gallen location and are responsible for psychiatric visits in nursing and retirement homes.
• Together with the department management and the interdisciplinary team, you conceptually further develop the service offering.
• You participate in the organizational design and interdisciplinary collaboration in the outpatient clinic.
• You share responsibility for ensuring outpatient psychiatric-psychotherapeutic treatment of patients with disorders from the entire diagnostic spectrum.
• You are part of the medical staff and participate in the clinic-wide on-call service (two to three weeks of on-call duty per year).

• You are a specialist in psychiatry and psychotherapy or are at the end of your specialist training.
• You have a professional practice license from the canton of St.Gallen or meet the necessary requirements to obtain it before starting the position.
• Ideally, you hold the FMH specialist title "Geriatric Psychiatry and Geriatric Psychotherapy" or are willing to acquire it.
• You bring experience in treating geriatric psychiatric patients or in internal medicine, geriatrics, or neurology.
• You are committed, appreciate working with patients, and enjoy working in a multiprofessional team.
• You are an independent, team-oriented, communicative, socially competent personality motivated to further develop the field of geriatric psychiatry.
