Tasks
- Support of the psychotherapy team in the treatment of burn-injured, partially severely traumatized patients in German and French
- Conducting thorough psychodiagnostic assessments
- Planning, implementation, and evaluation of evidence-based psychotherapeutic interventions, especially for trauma-related disorders
- Psychological crisis intervention during the rehabilitation phase
- Consultation and support for relatives
- Close interprofessional collaboration with medicine, nursing, and therapies
- Careful documentation of progress as well as writing specialist and discharge reports
Profile
- Federally recognized psychotherapist
- Completed training in a recognized trauma-specific method
- Experience in treating traumatized patients
- Very good German and French skills, both spoken and written, are a must
- Experience in inpatient settings and knowledge of working with burn-injured persons is a plus
- Confidence in the bio-psycho-social understanding of cases
- Independent, structured, and reflective working style
- Team-oriented personality with willingness for interprofessional collaboration
Severe burn injuries turn the lives of those affected upside down in an instant – physically, psychologically, and socially. In this sensitive phase, you make a central contribution to stabilizing and processing the experience. You accompany people who find themselves in an existential exceptional situation after an accident and support them in regaining security, orientation, and perspective.
You can expect a demanding, professionally diverse activity in a highly specialized rehabilitation environment. You work closely with a committed, multiprofessional team that values a supportive team culture, mutual respect, and a resource-oriented leadership approach.
The position is limited until the end of the year.
