The Clinic for Forensic Psychiatry is a treatment and assessment center with university affiliation. At the Center for Inpatient Forensic Therapy at the Rheinau location, offenders whose offense is based on a psychiatric illness are treated as part of a court-ordered measure. The treatment approach is based on the principle of recovery and aims at offense-free status with appropriate reintegration. Our forensic psychiatric security wards are a unique specialized offering in Switzerland.
For the Center for Inpatient Forensic Therapy at the Rheinau location, we are looking for a
- Case-responsible in a multiprofessional team for the acute psychiatric and criminal therapeutic treatment of patients in collaboration with a senior physician/senior psychologist
- Basic somatic care of our patients in cooperation with the senior physician and the in-house internal medicine service
- Creating criminal prognostic assessments using common prognostic instruments after careful introduction
- Opportunity to participate in the preparation of forensic expert reports
- Opportunity to participate in scientific projects
- Participation in the internal clinical emergency service (no night shifts)
- Interest in forensic psychiatric issues
- Experience in clinical psychiatry is an advantage
- Swiss federal medical examination or an equivalent qualification (MEBEKO recognition for foreign diplomas available)
- Structured and interdisciplinary working style
- Good German language skills (at least C1)
