As one of the leading clinics in Switzerland, the Psychiatric University Hospital Zurich employs around 2,000 staff. It is responsible for psychiatric care in the Zurich region, undertakes tasks in research and teaching as a university hospital, as well as in training and further education, and is very well networked internationally.
The Center for Child and Adolescent Forensics (ZKJF) is part of the Forensic Psychiatry and Psychotherapy of the PUK (Director: Prof. E. Habermeyer). The ZKJF provides a variety of services for juvenile criminal justice. These include outpatient treatments in measure enforcement, consultative psychiatric assignments, and juvenile forensic assessments. In addition, the ZKJF cares for minor prison inmates in the canton of Zurich. Clinical research is also conducted.
Starting immediately or by arrangement, we are looking for a
- Planning and conducting outpatient, juvenile criminal law-ordered offense-preventive or disorder-specific treatments in individual or group settings involving the social environment
- Conducting juvenile criminal law assessments
- Preparation of forensic juvenile psychiatric consultations
- Psychiatric basic care of minors in cantonal prisons and in the Uitikon measure center
- Supervision and guidance of junior assistants
- Interest in juvenile psychiatric or psychological work, forensic psychiatric–psychological issues, and modern forensic treatment principles
- Experience in psychiatry and psychotherapy, especially in the child and adolescent area, desired
- Forensic experience is an advantage
- Ongoing or completed psychotherapeutic additional training
- Team-oriented and interdisciplinary action as well as good communication skills
- Analytical thinking, empathy, and assertiveness
- Good German skills in written and spoken language; enjoyment in writing texts
- Recognized training center for obtaining the specialist title "Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Psychotherapy," category D (2 years)
- Recognized training center for obtaining the specialty title "Forensic Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Psychotherapy"
