About the job
What you will do here
- You coordinate and manage the operational office of the HERMES Connect Hub association (assistance and support of the board, organization and follow-up of meetings)
- As the first point of contact, you are available to our members, acquire new members, and maintain and expand the Member4Member offers
- You organize events in close cooperation with the board
- You communicate via the association's website, write posts about events on social media, and manage the monthly newsletter
- You support the finance department (member invoicing, assistance to the treasurer, preparation of the annual financial statement)
What you ideally bring with you
- Business administration education at bachelor level or commercial basic training with (initial) professional experience
- Organizational talent with high self-organization, efficient working style with a healthy dose of pragmatism
- Experience in association work as well as in collaboration and communication with volunteer board members
- Experience in marketing and communication, strong writing skills with the ability to independently write news and other texts
- Digital affinity, innovative and experimental approach to digital tools
- Entrepreneurial thinking as well as service orientation combined with assertiveness
