The BEAUSiTE is a lively design hotel where summit stormers find refuge from the hustle and bustle in Zermatt without ever losing sight of the Matterhorn. It offers plenty of stimulating HiGHLiGHTS with its refreshingly designed 70 rooms and suites, the Spa & Recharge zone with indoor and outdoor areas, as well as diverse regional cuisine.
Your Profile
- You have completed vocational training in restaurant management, a degree from a hotel management school, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in F&B
- Independent, organized, and self-reliant work as well as enjoyment in personal guest contact with a committed leadership style
- You can demonstrate very good language skills in English and French in addition to German and ideally bring knowledge of another foreign language – Italiano, per esempio?
- Experience with MS Office and a reservation system – we work with Lightspeed
- You are a team player and have an exemplary work attitude
- You remain focused and keep an overview in stressful situations
- Flexibility, communication skills, and reliability complete your profile
The areas of responsibility include
- The active all-around care and advice of our guests. From arrival at the restaurant to farewell. In doing so, you act as an adventure guide who takes guests on a culinary journey
- Responsibility and leadership of the entire service teams including coordination (also between different departments) and control of processes
- Introduction, coaching, and further development of the service team and trainees through a hands-on mentality and committed leadership
- You create a fair and entrepreneurial duty roster using Mirus 4.0, which you send to the team
- If a guest encounters a problem on their culinary journey, you independently develop solutions in compliance with hotel standards so that the adventure can continue carefree
- Administrative tasks, such as creating a monthly inventory or ordering drinks. After all, every proper alpinist deserves appropriate catering, right?
- Maintenance and control of stored data in the Lightspeed booking system
- As with mountaineering, some preparations are also needed in service. Therefore, you organize the entire "Mise en place" and service processes (whether in the restaurant, at banquets, or events)
Our Offer
- Permanent annual position
- 5-day week with 43.5 hours at 100%, a total of 5 weeks vacation and 6 holidays per year (according to LGAV)
- 13th monthly salary (pro rata)
