About the job
Your workplace is at the Department of Infectious Diseases and Pathobiology (DIP), which belongs to the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Vetsuisse.
The DIP consists of five institutes with lively departments in teaching, research, and services.
Tasks
- DIP Human Resources (appointments, changes, departures, and everything related in cooperation with the university)
- Responsible together with a team colleague for personnel and administration for all institutes at DIP (approx. 250 employees)
- Support for new domestic and international employees with housing search, insurance, residence permits, and other concerns
- Writing minutes in German and English
- Support for institute leaders
- Planning and organizing meetings, congresses, and retreats
- General secretarial work
Requirements
- Experience in the university sector is desirable
- Commercial training, ideally with HR experience or further education in the HR field
- Very good language skills in German, English, and if possible French
- Team-oriented, service-minded, and responsible personality with precise and organized working style
- You work independently, accurately, and efficiently, recognize priorities, and keep an overview
- You are characterized by a high sense of responsibility, loyalty, and discretion, have pronounced social and communication skills, are resilient and flexible
- You have very good knowledge of MS Office applications
