Quality Engineer 80 – 100 % (m/f/d)

The Business Unit Robotics develops, produces, and markets pipetting robots to automate liquid handling processes for the pharmaceutical, food industry, and cell or DNA research sectors.
This is what you can achieve:
Research and Development area:
- Development of safety concepts for development projects
- Responsibility for compliance with standards of the developed products
- Responsible for planning and conducting product safety tests within the project team (environmental simulation, safety tests, EMC tests, transport tests, biological safety tests)
- Support of product approvals (EU directives, international approvals CSA, UL, IVDR, GxP, Machine Directive, etc.)
- Collaboration with Reno (USA) regarding approvals such as CSA, FDA, UL for new global product developments
- Training of employees in the area of regulatory compliance
Sustaining area:
- Maintaining the current status of standards for all standard devices
- Responsibility for re-inspections in case of product changes or standards updates
Customized Solutions area:
- Responsible for safety standard compliance of customized solutions
You bring the following:
- Completed studies in engineering, preferably electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a comparable technical field (university/technical college)
- Experience in quality management / quality assurance
- Knowledge of relevant standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO 14971, IVDR 2017/746; GxP, FDA) as well as ensuring regulatory requirements and quality standards
- Solid knowledge of machinery, low voltage, and EMC directives
- Knowledge in project management
- Strong analytical skills, communication skills, teamwork, and a solution-oriented working style
- Precise, quality-oriented, independent working style
- High organizational skills, conflict resolution competence, and assertiveness even in demanding projects
- Very good communication skills also in an international environment
- Very good German and English skills in spoken and written form (level C1)
