The Vocational and Continuing Education Center Toggenburg (BWZT) and the Cantonal School Wattwil (KSW) together form the Wattwil Campus, which is attended daily by around 1,200 students and apprentices. Around 250 employees work full-time or part-time for the campus.

To complement our team, we are looking for a Head of Facility Management and Maintenance HFP as of May 1, 2026. Workload: 100%

What to expect

The Wattwil Campus includes the following properties and buildings:

• the new school building of the Cantonal School, which will be completed and occupied in 2026
• the Rietstein sports hall
• the BWZT school building including the gymnasium
• until further notice, the old cantonal school building at Näppisuelistrasse 11 in Wattwil
• a rented school building in Lichtensteig for the BWZT
• In the near future, the BWZT school building at Bahnhofstrasse in Wattwil will be renovated and expanded.

As Head of Facility Management, you are responsible for the operational management as well as the operation, administration, and maintenance of the buildings, systems, and facilities of the Wattwil Campus. You lead the housekeeping staff team and are responsible for the deployment of employees and external service providers.

Your tasks include:

• Ensuring efficient space and energy management, technical infrastructure, and occupational safety
• Developing and implementing operational management concepts as well as assisting in the creation of operational concepts
• Responsibility for cost comparison over the entire lifecycle and estimation of operating costs for buildings and systems
• Co-shaping the further development of facility management

What distinguishes you

• Technical basic education with a degree in facility management or building management
• Leadership experience
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills as well as an independent and proactive working style
• High service orientation and flexibility
• Good communication skills in professional consulting in facility management processes including quality control
