JOB VACANCY 22511.5591 SITUATION: The job at the GZA is not for boring people – you know that exactly. It’s all about speed, responsibility, and precision here. When others are still considering, you have long since decided. In this position, you take over the entire customs clearance in import and export, keep deadlines, documents, and processes under control, and ensure that everything crosses the border smoothly – day after day. TASKS: • create and check import and export customs declarations (ZE/ZV) • handle customs clearance directly at the border customs office • check invoices, certificates of origin, and accompanying documents • communicate with customers, drivers, freight forwarders, and customs authorities • monitor permits, regulations, and deadlines • record and maintain data in Passar and internal systems • clarify special cases and support internal clarifications • contribute to improvements and new processes in the customs procedure REQUIREMENTS: • completed training in freight forwarding logistics or as a customs declarant • 3–4 years of professional experience in import and export customs clearance at the GZA • solid knowledge of Swiss customs law and common procedures • independent, structured, and reliable way of working • team-oriented, resilient, and solution-focused personality – with healthy pragmatism LANGUAGES: German: spoken and written very good English: spoken and written good START DATE: short-term or by arrangement WORKPLACE: Aargau region (Koblenz) SPECIAL: Here you can expect flat hierarchies, an upbeat team, and a workplace where everyone knows what the other is doing.
