Who we are
We at the Swiss Federal Audit Office are the highest financial supervisory authority of the federal government. We check whether the administration uses federal funds legally, economically, and effectively. In addition, we are also the independent federal contact point for whistleblowing. This way, we support Parliament and the Federal Council in exercising their supervision over the administration. We not only have extraordinarily exciting tasks, but we are also an extraordinary employer. Because what you do here is important for Switzerland's success model. Here you will meet 140 other smart minds with interesting biographies who work with you on complex projects. Working like this is fun! In small, individually assembled teams, we conduct over 150 audits per year. In doing so, we repeatedly break new ground and examine the handling of topics that move Switzerland. Requirements
What makes you unique- Master's degree in economics, political science, social sciences, or natural sciences
- Aptitude with numbers and experience with common research methods, especially quantitative data analysis
- Project management know-how is an advantage
- Quick comprehension with pronounced analytical, synthetic, and editorial skills
- High willingness to learn, self-initiative, as well as a healthy mix of independence and team spirit
- Good active knowledge of two official languages
Remarks
During a 1-year internship, you will assist in the implementation of complex projects in the field of evaluations with the goal of improving the enforcement, effects, and cost-effectiveness of government measures.
