your crew:
At our location in Emmen, you will be an important part of a young, dedicated logistics team of six trained logistics professionals who tackle daily tasks with high motivation. This team is looking for a Team Lead who leads daily operations with passion, sets clear priorities, manages resources purposefully, and supports the crew in structured problem-solving. Your future colleagues are highly motivated to further develop their skills and look forward to an experienced leader who fosters and accompanies them on this path.
your mission:
- Assuming functional leadership responsibility without direct line responsibility and actively participating in daily logistics operations – including optimal resource planning.
- Developing employees in logistics and promoting their technical expertise.
- Ensuring the correct application of all logistics processes as well as supporting documentation and continuous development.
- Driving optimization initiatives to sustainably increase throughput, quality, and efficiency as well as reduce error rates.
- Monitoring the entire warehouse operation – including inventory management, audit-proof inventory processes, controlled scrapping, and data-based performance analyses.
- Defining, developing, and monitoring KPIs for transparent control and continuous improvement of logistics processes.
- Ensuring proper maintenance, availability, and readiness of logistical infrastructure and operating equipment.
- Leading the team in accordance with the values and Code of Conduct of Beyond Gravity Switzerland and promoting a culture of ownership, responsibility, collaboration, and continuous development.
your story:
- Completed vocational training in logistics, supplemented by further training as a logistics or process specialist.
- Several years of experience leading teams in a national and/or international industrial environment.
- Strong process orientation and high quality awareness combined with a structured and methodical way of working.
Nice to have’s:
- Practical experience in lean management, continuous improvement, and process optimization methods.
- Experience with digital tools and data analysis platforms such as PowerApps, Power BI, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
