A biomedical analysis technician at the Institute of Pathology
The Institute of Pathology is looking for a biomedical analysis technician at a work rate between 80% - 100%, to strengthen its team and ensure diagnostic activity.
The starting date is scheduled for March 1, 2026, or to be agreed upon.

The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research, and education.
The Institute of Pathology provides clinical diagnostic activity that guides patient care and contributes to therapeutic decisions. It is accredited according to the ISO 15189 standard.
Mission
- You ensure the execution of biomedical analyses within the framework of establishing medical diagnoses and patient follow-up
- You validate results, both technical and biomedical, according to the field of activity and the laboratory organization
- You participate in the management of the quality management system and the equipment/supply infrastructure
- You contribute to medico-technical optimization and development
- You contribute to the training and teaching of collaborators and students.
Profile
- You hold a higher technical diploma (ES) as a biomedical analysis technician or an equivalent title recognized by the Swiss Red Cross
- You have initial professional experience in a pathology laboratory and good knowledge of histology
- You are comfortable with common computer tools and have the adaptability skills necessary to use new software
- You have knowledge in the field of accreditation
- You are a proactive, versatile, conscientious, and dynamic person
- You have good communication and adaptation skills and appreciate teamwork.
