Our church community in the canton of Zurich is a lively community for young and old. For our gospel choir "Voll dä Gospel" we are looking for a committed personality as conductor/leader
The choir, which has existed for some time, is young in its composition: Between 25 and 30 singers aged 18 to 40+ meet weekly for about 1.5 hours on Wednesday evenings in the Reformed Church Dietlikon to express their joy of gospel and popular music.
Currently, the choir is accompanied by the leader with a guitar. Accompaniment with piano/e-piano would be welcome.
Tasks:
- Weekly rehearsals on Wednesday evenings. Rehearsals during school holidays by arrangement with the singers
- Organization and execution of about 5 performances per year in church services (confirmation, family services). These 5 events are held - divided between the second choir in the community, the kids' choir.
- Organization and execution of two annual concerts on the 1st Advent weekend
- Rehearsal weekend with the choir for the concerts
Profile:
- Enthusiasm and experience in choir work, combined with innovative spirit and creativity to motivate and promote young and young-at-heart people
- Joy in gospel and popular music and the ability to play an instrument, preferably piano/e-piano
- Flexibility for occasional Sunday activities
