The Heilpädagogische Zentrum Hagendorn is an educational and counseling center for professionals, relatives, and other interested parties. We offer further education, counseling, and support for complex educational issues for individuals and teams. Within this framework, our specialist offices serve as contact points for employees, relatives, and external professionals from social and curative education.
The Heilpädagogische Zentrum Hagendorn is oriented towards the educational approaches of Low arousal by Bo Heijskov Elvén and Castañeda/Waigand /Fröhlich as well as the concept of New Authority (Haim Omer). In practical work, we are accompanied by the TEACCH approach or Structured TEACCHing and the methods of Supported Communication.
For our specialist team, we are looking for an additional colleague starting March 1, 2026, or by arrangement:
Your Tasks
- Knowledge management and quality assurance within institutional structures and processes
- Support and counseling of employees and guardians
- Acquiring, organizing, and conducting internal and external training (Autism, Challenging Behavior, Structured TEACCHing, Aggression Management, socio-emotional development)
- Strategic advice to management and department heads on specialist area topics
- Diagnostic assessments of children and adolescents in the specialist area
- Collaboration with external service providers and external agencies
- Taking over administrative, organizational, and content-related partial areas of the specialist office
Your Profile
- Completed studies in school curative education or social pedagogy
- Expertise in the area of Autism Spectrum and handling challenging situations combined with cognitive impairment
- Professional experience in supporting people with cognitive impairments
- Further training and experience in counseling, coaching, and/or adult education is an advantage
- Willingness for high commitment and flexibility as well as a non-judgmental attitude based on our principles
- Process-oriented thinking, strategic development understanding
