Do you want to apply your nursing expertise where it really counts? In this role, you accompany people in challenging life situations, take responsibility for their health care, and work closely with an interdisciplinary network.
Your tasks
- During office hours, you are responsible for medical care in the asylum centers: As a contact person for clients regarding health, prevention, and maternity, you conduct initial medical interviews and handle health insurance registration as well as triage to general practitioners and gynecologists.
- You submit cost approvals in the health sector and are responsible for organizing vaccinations, in cooperation with center or family doctors.
- As a health expert with authority (nursing, medication administration, epidemics, prevention, etc.), you are responsible for the control and order of the asylum center's first aid kit.
- Additionally, you are the contact person for all involved institutions (doctors, hospitals, cantonal doctor, etc.) and participate in project and working groups.
Your profile
- You have completed your training as a certified nursing professional HF (mandatory) and have several years of professional experience.
- Your German language skills are flawless (spoken and written), and you also have good oral English and French skills.
- You are resilient, flexible, and well organized.
- A clean record and intercultural competencies complete your profile.
