Value Chain Planner 80 - 100% (f/m/d)
The Value Chain Planner will work closely with sales, production and logistics teams to optimize the value chain and support the S&OP process using the SAP ERP system. You'll support S&OP (sales & operations planning) & analyze data (forecasts, demand, inventory) in SAP. Manage order confirmations based on value chain status & implement process improvements for efficiency & cost reduction. Train users on SAP for value chain management.
Your Responsibilities

Support the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process with order confirmations according to forecasted demand, inventory, and capacity of specific production lines

Utilize SAP ERP system to track and manage demands, inventory levels, production schedules, and logistical KPIs

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, production, R&D, SCM and logistics to develop and implement strategies to optimize the value chain

Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve the performance of the value chain

Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs

Provide training and support to end-users (international environment) on the use of SAP ERP for value chain management

Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in value chain management
Your Background

Apprenticeship and/or preferably bachelor’s degree in business administration, industrial engineering, or related field with focus on operations

Minimum 2 years of experience in value chain management, with experience in a manufacturing environment

Basic understanding of Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) processes

At least 2 years of experience with SAP ERP system, including primarily planning processes, inventory management, production scheduling and logistics

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Advanced communication and project management skills

Basic knowledge of logistics and supply chain management principles

Experience with S/4HANA is a plus

Fluent in English (B2 or preferably C1 level or similar)
