Your mission:

• to position yourself as an expert in your field of activity within the gynecology, obstetrics, and delivery room services comprising 31 beds
• to implement care practices validated by evidence (EBN)
• to be involved in internal and external research
• to analyze professional practices and manage the continuous improvement of care services
• to participate in the design and documentation of processes and work instructions
• to support and advise all team members in partnership with the ICUS
• to participate in clinical projects
• to perform the nurse function within the service by assuming all types of unit schedules
• to ensure collaboration with the medical team by being a resource person in the development of their protocols and a liaison person for their implementation within the care team
• to be the representative of care in the management of CIRS
• to collaborate with the ICUS in managing equipment and materials within the services

Your profile:

• you hold a diploma in nursing and midwifery
• you have at least 2 years of experience in a hospital setting, ideally in obstetrics
• you hold a CAS as a clinician, or are willing to undertake it
• you have knowledge of project management tools and master computer tools
• you have skills in clinical evaluation
• you master French or German with good knowledge of the other language
• you appreciate working in an interdisciplinary team

Tasks

• You act as an expert in your field of activity in the gynecology, obstetrics, and delivery room departments with a total of 31 beds.
• You base your care on scientific evidence (evidence-based nursing, EBN).
• You participate in internal and external hospital research projects.
• You analyze professional practice with the aim of continuously improving care services.
• You participate in the design and documentation of work processes and instructions.
• You support and advise all team members in collaboration with the ward managers.
• You participate in clinical projects.
• You perform your function as a nursing professional in the department and work all shifts.
• You ensure collaboration with the medical team as a contact person in the development of protocols and act as an interface for their introduction in the nursing team.
• You represent nursing in the management of CIRS.
• You collaborate with the ward managers in managing equipment and material needs of the departments.

Profile

• Dipl. nurse and midwife qualification
• At least 2 years of experience in hospital care, preferably in obstetrics
• CAS as nursing specialist or willingness to complete the corresponding training
• Knowledge of project management tools and proficiency in common IT programs
• Knowledge in clinical evaluation
• German or French with good knowledge of the other language
• Ability to work in an interdisciplinary team
