The shift leader always guarantees the highest QSS&P level and ensures total guest satisfaction on every visit through optimal management of work shifts. He respects the various goals and standards of the restaurant as well as the company's guidelines.
Scope of duties
His main partners include the restaurant staff, the guests, and the restaurant management team. His responsibility is to lead a work shift ensuring:
Leads shifts through appropriate leadership, defines and sets team goals, and is responsible for staff positioning, conflict resolution, handling complaints, maintenance, supply, and other needs
Ensures maximum safety for employees and guests, cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene, and leads by example
Coaches for optimal working methods, ensures consistent application of procedures and operational standards while complying with applicable legal regulations
Properly uses the available tools to support his leadership responsibilities such as planning, cash counting, orders, or inventory
Supports initiatives for the development of the restaurant through training, information exchange, or other appropriate means
Leads the team impartially with empathy, respect, and patience
Open and transparent in communication and conflict management, considers feedback
Coordinates with common sense and agility, reliably and trustworthily sets the right priorities
