About the job
The Baselland Red Cross is committed to supporting people in need with a variety of services. Around 120 employees and more than 500 volunteers help in emergency situations, engage in further education, health promotion, and integration of the population in the Basel region.
In our daycare center, we care for elderly and/or people with dementia or people with disabilities. This relieves the caregiving relatives and offers the guests a varied daily structure.
Certified Nurse HF as Deputy Head of Daycare Center
For our daycare center, we are looking for a new deputy manager from January 2026 or by arrangement.
Your area of responsibility
- You support the guests in everyday activities during their stay (care and support).
- You participate in daily planning including activation.
- You maintain the care documentation.
- You support the head of the daycare center and take over the professional and personnel management of the team (7 employees) as well as guest planning in her absence.
- You advise guests and their relatives.
Your profile
- You have a basic nursing education at tertiary level (HF, FH) with several years of professional experience as well as further training in activation.
- You enjoy working with elderly people and people with various impairments (dementia, MS, Parkinson's, CVI, etc.) and approach them with empathy and patience.
- You are a proficient MS Office user and open to learning new systems.
- Ideally, you bring leadership experience.
