About the job
- You treat psychiatric-psychotherapeutic patients in an outpatient setting and work in an interdisciplinary team with professionals from psychology, nursing, and therapy.
- After an onboarding tailored to your needs, you independently take over the diagnostics, treatment, and counseling of patients. You are regularly supervised by an experienced senior physician.
- In the course of your work, you have the opportunity to treat a variety of psychiatric disorders. In this context, you exchange information with our multiprofessional team as well as the referring agencies.
- With the support of our service-oriented secretariat, you plan therapies, write medical reports, and record services in the hospital information system.
- At our location in Uznach/Rapperswil, you participate in briefings, supervision, and further training. Together with the team, you also engage in public relations work.
- You have a completed medical degree and ideally two years of experience in inpatient psychiatry.
- It is advantageous if you have a professional practice license from the canton of St. Gallen or meet the necessary requirements to obtain it before starting the position.
- You are aiming for the title of specialist in psychiatry and psychotherapy and preferably have advanced or completed psychotherapeutic training.
- Your interest lies in interdisciplinary treatment oriented to the needs of patients and their environment.
- You communicate openly, empathetically, and appreciatively with patients as well as your team colleagues.
- It is important to you to have freedom to shape your work and to organize your workday flexibly.
- You like to work independently, are resilient, and team-oriented.
