About the job
On behalf of our client from Vaud, engaged in several strategic initiatives aimed at strengthening the performance and efficiency of its information systems, we are looking for an Integration Engineer – Data at 80%.
Within a specialized technical team, you will work on an internal solution for generating synthetic data used in test environments. Your role will be to ensure its evolution, stability, and alignment with project needs, while contributing to limiting the use of production data.
Maintain and evolve a Python codebase dedicated to the generation and injection of synthetic data
Develop integration modules for various systems and services (internal APIs, data bus)
Design and adjust synthetic data sets according to project needs
Ensure the reliability and operationality of the data pipeline
Contribute to documentation, best practices, and continuous improvement
Collaborate closely with project, technical, and testing teams
Challenge the existing architecture and propose optimizations
Provide occasional technical support on cross-cutting topics related to synthetic data
Engineering degree in computer science (EPF, HES) or equivalent
Junior+ to Mid+ profile
Minimum 2 years of software development experience, ideally in an integration context
Proven experience in an Agile environment
Very good command of Python and solid foundations in software architecture
Experience integrating with REST/SOAP APIs
Autonomy, organizational skills, and reliability
Good communication skills and collaborative spirit
English B2 minimum (spoken and written)
French B2 minimum (spoken and written)
Availability for regular on-site presence in the canton of Vaud
Knowledge of a message bus (Kafka or equivalent)
Mastery of Git and collaborative workflows (PR, code reviews)
Experience or interest in synthetic data, anonymization, or topics related to data protection / GDPR
Experience in QA / testing
