As a maintenance employee in shell construction, you ensure that our production facilities are always ready for operation. Through regular maintenance and quick troubleshooting, you guarantee the availability of our welding and manufacturing equipment at the Altenrhein and Au SG locations. You conduct independent inspection rounds for damage prevention and take on the repair of operating resources as well as complex production systems for the entire car body manufacturing.
YOUR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Maintenance of operating resources (manual welding and manual grinding machines)
- Mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical troubleshooting on production and operating systems (welding robots, rotary lifting jacks, welding gauges, CNC portal milling machine, FSW systems)
- Regular maintenance work to ensure system availability
- Independent inspection rounds to detect and fix damage and malfunctions
YOUR PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- Completed training as a mechanic, mechatronics technician, maintenance specialist, or comparable
- Several years of experience in maintenance, ideally in industry
- Solid technical understanding of mechanical and pneumatic systems
- Electrical knowledge and certifications are an advantage
- German language skills (level B1) and other languages are an advantage
- High reliability, sense of responsibility, and independent working style
