• You bear overall entrepreneurial responsibility for the operational management of Aargau Verkehr AG (AVA) and Limmat Bus AG and ensure sustainable and long-term business success. You implement the strategic objectives of the owners according to the directives of the board of directors.
• You develop and connect people, processes, and technologies in a balanced way and keep the big picture in mind. Your activities focus on customer and employee satisfaction, economic efficiency, safety, and sustainability.
• You lead effectively, provide orientation, set accents and impulses for changes, including in the areas of digitization, e-mobility, and infrastructure. You enjoy further developing a performance-oriented work environment for trains and buses.
• You initiate the necessary projects while considering the legal framework and involving various stakeholders. You can count on your strong management team as well as specialists.
• You represent AVA internally and externally and advocate for its interests with clients, in associations, in public, and in the media.

• Proven track record and several years of leadership experience at the management level in infrastructure companies, preferably in transport companies. Strong business and technical know-how.
• Established personality with a convincing and respectful demeanor, engaging and dialogue-oriented communication, as well as negotiation and decision-making strength.
• Noticeable intrinsic motivation to further develop public transport, rethink organizational structures, and take people along on the journey.
• Enjoyment of representation tasks and building and maintaining relationships and networks, both regionally and nationally.
