The Education Center Lake Zurich (BZZ) is a cantonal vocational school with locations in Horgen and Stäfa. We train apprentices in the professions of media design, computer science, and childcare and offer commercial training programs. Computer science students attend specialized classes at BZZ. As a recognized vocational baccalaureate location, we offer the BM orientation in Business and Services, type Business. We are looking for a teacher mbA for English (80%) starting September 1, 2026.
Your tasks
- Teaching English in the professions of childcare specialist, media designer, computer scientist, commercial apprentices EFZ/EBA, and in BM1
- Further development of teaching as a member of the English subject group
- Implementation of the reform for commercial apprentices EFZ and EBA BiVo 2023
- Willingness to take on organizational, methodological-didactic, and pedagogical additional tasks within the framework of school development (mbA teacher)
Your profile
- Master’s degree in English and teaching diploma for baccalaureate schools
- Teaching experience at EFZ and BMS level and/or at EFZ and EBA level
- Teaching experience in the profession of childcare specialist – experience teaching students with compensatory measures
- Confident use of digital media in teaching
- High social competence and enjoyment in working with young learners
- Experience in planning and conducting interdisciplinary projects and modular teaching
- Experience in leading subject groups
