Our own logistics at our headquarters in Nänikon ZH is the internal hub for all incoming and outgoing goods and ensures timely and seasonal delivery to our branches. We are looking for a professionally and personally convincing personality as Head of Logistics for our successful family business.
Bächli Bergsport is the leading Swiss specialist store for mountaineering, climbing, expeditions, hiking, ski touring, and snowshoeing. In ten sales branches in German-speaking Switzerland, two sales branches in French-speaking Switzerland, and one branch in Ticino, we offer our demanding customers the best products and brands, expert advice, and high-quality service.
Your Tasks
In this dynamic leadership role, you are responsible for smooth and efficient operations in logistics and shipping. You lead and develop the logistics and shipping team of about 17 employees and ensure the timely delivery of goods as well as punctual supply to our branches. You ensure inventories in the central warehouse and branches and take care of issues related to merchandise management within the company. You analyze logistical processes in detail and continuously optimize them together with the team. Furthermore, you organize and coordinate facility matters at the central warehouse and in coordination with the branches. Promoting collaboration between logistics and our branches and positioning logistics as an internal service provider is as important to you as participating in the management team.
Your Profile
You have completed vocational training as a logistics specialist EFZ with advanced training in logistics (e.g., logistics manager) or a business degree (BSc./MSc.) or an equivalent qualification. You have at least five years of leadership experience, ideally in retail logistics, and have solid knowledge along the entire supply chain in general or in trade logistics, especially in purchasing, logistics, IT, and sales. We are looking for a proven hands-on leader with highly developed communication skills at all hierarchy levels. You work independently, motivate and inspire your team, act solution-oriented, and enjoy further developing processes.
