At Hoval, we shape the future of energy and climate technology. To ensure our systems operate reliably, we are looking for a dedicated IT System Administrator (m/f/d) who actively shapes and further develops our IT infrastructure with expertise, foresight, and enthusiasm.

This is your area of responsibility

• Main responsibility for the Hoval mail system based on M365 Microsoft Exchange Online and the mail security components and the entire mail flow
• Responsibility and administration of the Veeam backup environment (OnPrem, Hypervisor, M365, and Cloud)
• Support of Windows servers including patch and lifecycle management
• 2nd-level support
• Participation in IT projects including subproject management
• Taking over 2nd-level support tasks

This is how you convince us

• Training as an IT specialist or equivalent qualification and/or several years of professional experience
• Several years of experience with M365, Microsoft Exchange Online, and mail security
• Solid knowledge in the Microsoft server environment and server virtualization
• Experience in the enterprise backup environment (ideally Veeam)
• Advantageous: Basic knowledge in the Microsoft Azure environment and PowerShell experience
• Analytical and strategic thinking, proactive action
• Teamwork, resilience, and reliability
• On-call availability (approx. 20%)
