Head of Service (m/f) 80% - 100% for the traditional Schützenhaus – from April 2026

Are you a passionate host with heart and experience in service? Would you like to work in a historic house with state-of-the-art cuisine and stylish ambiance? Then we are looking for you!

The Schützenhaus is one of the best-known restaurants in the region, always valued for its warm atmosphere and excellent cuisine. With the à la carte restaurant "Gartensaal" and the rustic "Schluuch," we offer space for up to 160 guests. Our three elegant banquet rooms, including the large Schützensaal for up to 180 people, provide the perfect setting for special occasions. In summer, our garden and terrace transform into a green oasis with 300 additional seats.

From April 2026, we will reopen the Schützenhaus after a three-month renovation phase – and you can be part of this exciting new beginning!

Your main tasks:

• Warm welcome and care of our guests in all areas of service

• Ensuring a first-class service experience in the à la carte area, banquets, and events

• Coordination and organization of the service team during shifts

• Support in ensuring smooth operations in the restaurant and at events

• Participation in menu and beverage recommendations as well as wine selection

• Implementation and compliance with HACCP hygiene standards and occupational safety

You bring with you:

• Several years of experience in upscale service, ideally in a restaurant with an event character

• Friendly, professional demeanor and strong service orientation

• High initiative and implementation strength

• Organizational talent and team spirit

• Very good German skills; French and English skills are an advantage

• You feel a strong connection to Switzerland and especially to the Basel region
