THE ROLE:
We are looking for a motivated and entrepreneurial Equity Research Analyst to join our Capital Goods research team in Stockholm.
You will be responsible for analysing companies within the Capital Goods sector, primarily those listed in Sweden, and potentially in other Nordic markets.
This is an opportunity to contribute to one of Europe’s most respected equity research platforms, working closely with senior analysts, sales teams, and institutional investors.
YOUR RESPONSABILITES:
As part of its strategy to strengthen its Institutional Brokerage – Equity Research, Kepler’s Equity team is seeking ambitious and entrepreneurial-driven young professionals who are keen to join a leading financial player with a set-up across several different business lines.
You will work within the Capital Goods Equity Research team reporting directly to the sector head.
Your role will involve collating and presenting key economic data relevant to the industrial sector and its various sub-sectors, developing and updating financial models and working with corporate valuation. You will work with the sector head, and all team members, to assist in co-ordination and creation of research reports and investment presentations, while working with analysts to support client and corporate needs.
Your roles will include:
- Reviewing and presenting general and sector relevant financial and economic data ;
- Maintaining financial models for companies under coverage ;
- Supporting the creation of thematic research notes, undertaking competitor analysis ;
- Developing and maintaining databases used for investment advice and corporate valuation.
YOUR PROFILE & SKILLS:
The candidate should meet the following requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years of work experience in a relevant field (sell-side, buy-side, consulting, auditing, controlling etc. or from the industry) with a strong interest in equities. No need to apply if you lack this experience

- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in management, economics, engineering, or a related discipline
- Strong knowledge of accounting, financial modelling, and valuation techniques
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint (experience with other analytical tools is a plus)
- Fluent in English and Swedish (additional European language is an advantage)
- Demonstrated passion for equities and financial markets
RECRUITMENT PROCESS:
