Production Supervisor Gas Operations

As part of succession planning in the Gas Operations department, we are looking for a Production Supervisor in Visp, Switzerland.

In this role, you are responsible for ongoing production as well as managing production campaigns for the manufacture of chemical products under ISO 9001 and FSSC 22000 standards and other regulations in the food sector, as well as for training the operators. Representing production is part of your duties as a member of an interdisciplinary team.

Your tasks:

• Responsible for the safe and quality-compliant production of the assigned plants as deputy
• Ensuring ongoing production and managing production campaigns as well as monitoring planned work during the production phase
• Ensuring that the assigned plant sections can be operated continuously and in compliance with regulations
• Providing solution proposals to resolve deviations
• Accompanying new employees during onboarding to ensure smooth integration into the team
• Practical training so that employees can perform tasks efficiently and safely
• Conducting basic, advanced, and safety training for new and existing operators and shift leaders
• Developing and updating training materials to ensure the latest safety, quality, and operational standards are conveyed
• Assuming professional responsibility for occupational safety and health protection (KOPAS)
• Supporting the systematic recording and documentation of safety activities to comply with legal requirements and prepare for audits.

• You preferably have completed training as a chemical and pharmaceutical technologist (chemical technician) or a comparable education with several years of professional experience
• You possess solid expertise in chemical production

• Furthermore, you are an organizational talent and characterized by high flexibility (working hours and tasks), teamwork, and a strong commitment
• You are willing to participate in on-call duty
