Civil Engineer - Project Manager (Steel Construction) in international infrastructure projects in the energy sector

Tasks

Technical project management in the field of steel construction as well as support in all project phases from sales through the design and manufacturing of steel structures to the completion of on-site assembly.
Technical and commercial responsibility for the technical project execution while adhering to relevant standards as well as deadlines, cost, and material specifications.
Collaboration with sales, project management, design, and clients to develop project requirements while considering applicable standards.
Management of medium-sized client or internal projects while adhering to company policies, contractual agreements, quality standards, occupational safety and environmental regulations, financial goals, and timelines.
Leading the project team, setting guidelines, assigning tasks, motivating, and monitoring internal and external resources to achieve all project goals and milestones.
Providing feedback on the performance of assigned resources.
Ensuring successful and timely project execution within budget while adhering to the company's quality and safety standards.

Your profile:

Technical education - Bachelor's or Master's degree in civil engineering
Experience in steel construction and GIS knowledge is a great advantage
Experience in technical project management in the field of civil engineering
Knowledge of structural analysis programs (e.g., scia engineer, staad pro) is an advantage
CAD knowledge (3D and 2D AutoCAD)
BIM software knowledge (Tekla Structures) is advantageous
Knowledge of EC, AISC, and building regulations, EN 1090 is desirable
Experience with SAP is beneficial
Very good English skills and ideally good German skills
Good communication and organizational skills and experience in intercultural collaboration
Outgoing and team-oriented personality
