Machine and Plant Operator as a Career Changer in Chemical Production (m/f/d)

As a career changer, you will work with modern equipment, load raw materials, monitor processes, and contribute to quality assurance. The work is carried out according to clear instructions, step by step, like in a recipe book. In a structured training, you will learn everything needed for safe and efficient operation. Use your skills and start in a future-proof professional field.

What makes you unique is the willingness to work exactly according to instructions. You must also be physically and mentally fit, able to get involved, and be a doer. Ideally, you have a technical or manual vocational qualification, but other industry qualifications are also warmly welcome. To read, understand, implement operating procedures as instructions, and document events in writing, your German language skills must be at a very high level (speaking/writing).

We offer demanding and challenging work as well as secure employment in chemical production. You can also develop professionally and personally as an operator and advance to shift supervisor in leadership.

In a two-month internal training program, you will be introduced practically and structurally to the basic operations of chemical production. Afterwards, you will switch to shift work in one of our production plants. In the shift group, you will be further trained on the job by experienced employees over the next 4 months and gradually take on responsibility in the production of pharmaceutical active ingredients.

By the way: Employment with us is permanent and you will receive a fixed-term contract.

Retraining program:

After completing your training in the basic course and the subsequent practical phase in a production plant, there is the possibility of retraining to become a chemical production operator. Further information will be provided during the application process.
