The Eschenbach church community is looking for a committed and responsible individual for the role of President of the Church Council. As President, you will take on a significant leadership role and actively shape the further development of our church community.
Your diverse tasks include, among others:
• Leading various meetings and assemblies
• Conversations with staff (diocesan vicariate / regional church)
• Handling ongoing administrative matters
• Representing the church community at various events
• Supervising the church community administration
• Addressing general issues within the church community and the church council
• Membership in the church council committee of the Oberseetal pastoral area
What you bring
Interest in parish life, connection to the Catholic Church, and understanding of the various forms of worship
Independent, reliable work with irregular working hours; willingness to serve on weekends and holidays
Mental and physical agility
Good manners and a hospitable attitude
Training as a sacristan or willingness to complete the sacristan course
These tasks are compensated with meeting fees (CHF 30.00/h net) and a flat-rate remuneration plus expenses. We estimate the annual workload at about 10%.
