The Oberi Children and Youth Home is an offer of the residential youth welfare of the city of Winterthur. In our four coeducational and age-mixed residential groups, we offer a total of 32 places for children and adolescents aged 6 to 18 years. Two groups specialize in children (6–13 years) and two in adolescents (13–18 years). For one of our children's residential groups, we are looking for an intern from February 1, 2026, or by arrangement until July 31, 2026 (or until July 31, 2027).

Your tasks

Designing and structuring the daily routine of eight children aged between 6 and 13 years

Accompanying and organizing leisure activities

Implementing developmental goals

Supporting household tasks (cooking, shopping, chores)

Participation in summer and winter sports camps as well as in overarching institutional events

Your profile

Minimum age 22 years

Good communication skills, high social competence

Assertiveness, flexibility, resilience, and humor

Good PC skills, good oral and written expression

Willingness to work evening shifts (but no night shifts and only very limited weekend presence)
