Your tasks
- With your expertise, you promote and support children and adolescents with hearing impairments in their hearing and speech development.
- Your empathy enables you to sensitize parents and professionals to the effects of hearing impairment as well as the specific needs of the children and to advise them on various challenges.
- You support the children and adolescents in their communication skills and in developing a positive self-concept.
- You are actively involved in families and schools, plan and organize your work independently, and network with various professional disciplines.
- Help shape the future of the Audiopedagogical Service (APD) and further develop the audiopedagogical offerings together with our innovative team.
Your profile
- You hold a Master of Arts in Special Needs Education with a specialization in School Special Education or an equivalent degree recognized by the EDK.
- You have already completed or are willing to complete further training in audiopedagogy.
- Your openness to different school systems and your interest in interdisciplinary collaboration enable you to develop innovative approaches.
- You are motivated to acquire or expand hearing impairment-specific knowledge in medicine and technology.
- You enjoy acting as a contact person for children and adolescents aged six months to 20 years. The APD team covers the entire Central Switzerland. You have a category B driving license for this.
