BACHTELEN is committed in the canton of Solothurn to the individual support and integration of children, adolescents, and young adults.

To achieve our goals, we operate daycare centers, day schools, residential offers, individual support services, as well as therapeutic and counseling services.

For the 2026/2027 school year, we are looking for a special education classroom teacher for the Day School Grenchen starting 01.08.2026

for Cycle 1 (50 – 60%)

or a teacher willing to

begin training within the next two years

Tasks

• Teaching and supporting normally gifted students with special educational needs in the areas of behavior, learning, and communication
• Class management of a mixed-age class of 8 – 9 students in Cycle 1
• Close collaboration in a multiprofessional team consisting of the disciplines special education, social pedagogy, therapy & counseling

• is interested in further development in the areas of trauma pedagogy, attachment-based pedagogy, and new authority
